Hemp oil is among the most studied substances in the world, which makes sense because the more they study it, the more uses of hemp oil they find.
We were delighted to learn them and we hope you are too!
One of the most surprising uses of hemp oil is for cigarette addiction. Smoking rates in the United States are down, way down actually, but 38 million people still smoke according to the the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Hemp oil could be an answer to those struggling to quit. In a double-blind, placebo controlled study of 24 smokers hemp oil was found to reduce cigarette use by a whopping 40% compared to a placebo.

Let us start this one with a disclaimer — there are many uses of hemp oil, but controlling diabetes is not one of them.

Numerous studies are underway to discover if hemp oil could be used to control diabetes or reduce the likelihood of developing it.

Acne — a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that includes everything from whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples to cysts and nodules — is very common.
85 percent of people between the ages of 12 and 24 report suffering from it. Many older people deal with periodic bouts of acne as well.
We’ve shared the amazing impact of hemp oil for skin care before, so perhaps it’s no surprise that a study published in the National Institute of Health and the Journal of Clinical Investigation found hemp oil an effective treatment for acne.

Fibromyalgia, a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, is one of the most common chronic pain conditions.
Affecting an estimated 10 million people just in the United States, fibromyalgia can also cause fatigue, memory, sleep and mood issues.
A study comparing the efficacy of traditional treatments (largely anti-inflammatory drugs) with hemp oil found the latter to be far more effective at reducing pain.
