Where do I begin?  Brownies.  Nuff said, right?  Except… these are the ultimate gluten-free brownies.  Undisputable.  Superfood packed, nutrient-dense, full-spectrum CBD, GF brownie goodness, fit for the gods.

These mini brownies are perfectly dosed, making it super convenient as well.  Each mini brownie contains around 12-14mg of full-spectrum CBD.  This quick and easy brownie recipe is a perfect sweet midday snack.  Yes, sweet midday snacks are a thing.  And of course, these CBD brownies are the quintessential dessert just before bed.  Perfectly dosed!

Jenny’s Gluten-Free Chocolate Brownie mix contains cacao, a superfood!  The earliest evidence indicates cacao was used for ingestion by Mesoamericans around 1,400 BCE. Cacao is a superfood containing highly beneficial compounds, vitamins, and minerals.

Cacao and cocoa are different things that are spelled similarly.  Sigh.  They both come from the cacao tree.  Although, they are quite different nutritionally speaking and in how they are processed.  Cacao is considered a pure form of chocolate, with minimal processing, that contains many phytochemicals and nutrients.  Cacao, on the other hand, has been processed at high heat, which destroys much of the beneficial chemicals and nutrients.

Incorporating nutrient-rich add-ins like sour cherries, walnuts, or cashew butter increases the nutrient profile of these powerhouse brownies. Cherries are rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and may boost exercise recovery.  Walnuts, another superfood, are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, may increase beneficial gut bacteria, and may lower blood pressure.  Cashews contain heart-healthy fats, and one serving contains almost 100 percent of your daily copper intake (there are only a few foods that are high in copper)!
