Chia seeds have all the health benefits – like, they’re an antioxidant, and, as we know, they may even aid in the fight to prevent cancer. They’re an anti inflammatory which means they can help prevent heart disease and hypertension.

They’re rich with vitamin B & B12, amino acids, zinc, omega 3 (can help skin conditions), niacin, and thiamin! Chia seeds are also high in fiber, calcium, and they’re great for digestion because they’re high in magnesium, which helps promote bowel regularity. They even have protein!

Now onto flaxseeds, one of the oldest superfoods…all the above x2 in this little bowl of goodness + flaxseeds reduce cholesterol levels. Add the benefits of coconut milk and cannabis and you have a winning treat that your body & mind will thank you for!!

Jenny's Superfood Energy Snack

Since I cut out meat and dairy from my diet I've seen an improvement with my digestion. My eczema has definitely dialed back. I'm loving the energy boost, as well.
I've been craving the creamy textures one gets from dairy. Here's an easy substitute I created, packed with everything you need to stay healthy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coconut milk unsweetened
  • 1 tsp CBD olive oil can also use regular olive oil
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp flax seeds
  • 1 dollop raw local honey

Instructions
 

  • Combine it in small jars with lids, refrigerate overnight and enjoy throughout the week!
